The FTGAS-600 gas analyzer utilizes FTIR technology that simultaneous measurement of multi-component gas concentrations. Suitable for on-line monitoring or other fields requiring multi-component gas concentration measurement.

FTIR is short for Fourier Transform Infrared SpectroscopyThe basic principle is to transform the sequential interference signal generated by interferometer into spectral signal by Fourier transform.

The Michelson interferometer is a device that can divide a beam of radiation into two paths and then recombine the two beams after a path difference has been introduced. The variation of intensity of the beam emerging from the interferometer is measured as a function of path difference by a detector, which is called interferogram. ultimately yields the spectral by FFT algorithmic.
